My name is Louise and I have been teaching Drama since 2003 teaching at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. I am passionate that drama and theatre should have a prominent place in today\u2019s school curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I currently work in a large secondary school as a head of department. I am regularly involved in the mentoring and tutoring of trainee teachers, I am an examiner and moderator and I am about to add LAMDA teacher to my list of roles from September! Before being permanently ensconced in school, I ran a youth drama group, a summer camp and worked as a make-up artist and teacher abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I live in the south east of England with my husband, two daughters and three guinea pigs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would love to see <strong>The Drama Space<\/strong> become a useful blog and valuable resource for anyone involved in delivering Drama to young people, from trainee teachers and ECTs to experienced leaders of drama and theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are any topics you would like to see covered, or resources, please get in touch.
