This year THE SPACE presents a new class, the Spring Shakespeare Intensive. This class will use the Shakespeare's classic texts as a way to refine performance skills and develop confidence in speaking, and reading comprehension. There will be an emphasis in the class on voice work such as articulation and projection. Students will gain a deep understanding of this classic comedy as they bring the text to life. The story follows four friends trying to escape their strict parents rules in Athens. But they don't make it far before they get lost in the fairy-ridden woods, where they find even more trouble. The final class will be an open performance of the work students have done to celebrate their success.
Because hey, once you do Shakespeare, you can do anything.
